Oakville Galleries has over 1,100 works of art in its collection. Our holdings—with works in a variety of media that include painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, photography, film, and installation—are by Canadian and international artists. The acquisition of works is in line with the exhibition programme, where artists who exhibit or have exhibited at Oakville Galleries are prioritized.
While we regularly integrate works from the permanent collection into our programming, most items are held in storage. We loan works from our collection to major cultural institutions and museums across Canada and also exhibit works in public spaces within the community.
