Nestled in the Town of Oakville's picturesque Gairloch Gardens on the shore of Lake Ontario, Oakville Galleries' quaint Studio is available for facility rentals year-round. This unique site offers a charming private space—with wonderful views of the park and impressive waterfront—and is perfect for hosting meetings, workshops, gatherings, and celebrations.
The Studio can be rented Monday to Sunday year-round. Rental hours are from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, which is when Gairloch Gardens closes.

November to March:
Monday to Friday:
Half Day (5 hours) - $700 + HST
Full Day (10 hours) - $1,050 + HST
Saturday and Sunday:
Half Day (5 hours) - $825 + HST
Full Day (10 hours) - $1,350 + HST
April to October:
Monday to Friday:
Half Day (5 hours) - $750 + HST
Full Day (10 hours) - $1,250 + HST
Saturday and Sunday:
Half Day (5 hours) - $875 + HST
Full Day (10 hours) - $1,450 + HST
Additional hour: $110.00/hour
What is the capacity of the Studio?
The Studio can accommodate a maximum of 50 people.
Can I host an event outdoors at Gairloch Gardens?
All events must be held inside the Studio. The grounds are public and managed by the Town of Oakville, so outdoor events are not permitted.
What is included with the rental?
Your rental includes access to the Studio and the following equipment at no additional cost:
7 rectangular tables
57 chairs (mix of folding and cushioned)
Podium and easels
Wi-Fi
Heating, cooling, and ceiling fans
Two single-use restrooms and cloakroom
Limited storage space
You are welcome to bring additional décor and equipment (some restrictions apply, such as no confetti or helium balloons).
Is there a kitchen or sinks available?
No. The Studio does not have facilities for on-site food preparation.
Does my rental time include setup and cleanup?
Yes. Setup and teardown must be completed within your booked rental time, and are the responsibility of the renter.
Can I bring in my own catering?
Yes. You may hire any caterer or bring in food prepared off-site.
Are there any restrictions on food service?
Yes. Due to the Studio’s all-wood interior:
No on-site cooking or heating
No chafing dishes or open heat sources
Can alcohol be served?
Yes, but you must obtain a Special Occasion Permit from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and provide appropriate insurance.
Is parking available for guests?
Yes, but it is limited and shared with the public:
3 spaces beside the Studio (including 1 accessible)
Public lot at 1306 Lakeshore Rd (33 spaces)
Street parking on nearby roads
Additional parking in the main gallery lot (evenings and Sundays only)

Is the Studio accessible?
Yes. There is an accessible parking space nearby and step-free entry to the Studio.
Can I visit the Studio before booking?
Yes, site visits are available by appointment only (no drop-ins).

Hosted in the main floor Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, this creative birthday experience invites kids to explore art in a fun and inspiring setting. Participants will have plenty of time to create, celebrate, and enjoy their big day surrounded by art and the nature in the garden.
