Join us at Oakville Galleries for an Intermediate Reduction Printmaking Course designed for participants who already have some printmaking experience and are ready to deepen their skills.
Over the span of three sessions, participants will learn the process of reduction printmaking, exploring the techniques behind planning, carving in stages, and printing multiple layers from a single block. The course will focus on colour sequencing, registration, and intentional decision-making as the image evolves through each reduction.
By the end of the course, participants will complete a cohesive reduction print and gain a deeper understanding of this dynamic and irreversible printmaking method. All materials are provided.
