Clay: Creatures
Grades 1 – 4
Artists have made clay protective figures and symbols across cultures and time. Students will learn foundational hand-building techniques, including pinch-pot, shaping, joining, and adding surface textures. Using age-appropriate prompts, they’ll experiment with form and detail to bring their creations to life with personality and character.
Clay pieces are not kiln-fired. Students should bring shoeboxes to transport work back to school.
