Birthday Sundays

Celebrate your child’s special day with ‘Birthday Sundays’ at Oakville Galleries! 

Hosted in the main floor Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, this creative birthday experience invites kids to explore art in a fun and inspiring setting. Participants will have plenty of time to create, celebrate, and enjoy their big day surrounded by art and the nature in the garden. 

Recommended for children ages 5–10

Each booking is 3 hours to include set-up and clean-up along with the 2 hour party. 

OPTION 1: 11 AM–2 PM (Party  from 11:30 AM–1:30PM)
OPTION 2: 12 PM–3 PM (Party from 12:30 PM–2:30 PM)

The booking is broken down into the following: 

• 30 minutes for setup
• 75 minutes of guided art instruction on ONE project of your choice (Please see below for details)
• 45 minutes for cake, games, and presents
• 30 minutes for cleanup

About the Projects:

Design Your Own Pencil Case Party: Turn a plain pencil case into a colourful masterpiece you can use every day. Using bright paints and fabric markers, participants will design and decorate their own personalized pencil case to take home.

Clay Magnet Creations Party: Learn to sculpt your very own set of colourful polymer clay magnets to decorate any magnetic surface! Our instructor will guide you step by step to creating your own unique creations,baking them in the oven, and transforming them into magnets before the party ends so they are ready to take home.

Scratch Foam Printmaking Party: Unleash your creativity by learning a simple printmaking technique using foam and colored inks! Play with cool textures, lines, and shapes to create one-of-a-kind series of prints to take home.

Collage Party: Cut, tear, and layer colourful papers, magazines, and tissue for a fun and textured explosion of creativity. Our instructor will guide participants through various types of collage and how to apply techniques into their own finished artwork! This activity encourages imagination and playful experimentation with colour, texture, and composition.

Cancellations:

• Cancellation requests must be made in writing 14 days or more before the date of the booking by emailing education@oakvillegalleries.com
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the booking are not eligible for refund of the 50% deposit.
• If the Galleries must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments received will be issued.

Oakville Galleries reserves the right to cancel the booking prior to the program. In the event that Oakville Galleries cancels a program, registrants will be notified and will be offered a full refund.

$475 minimum for up to 10 children
(Additional $60 per child for 11–15 participants)
