Camps run from 9 am–4 pm. All programs have optional before- and after-care available from 8 am–9 am ($5/day) and 4 pm–5:30 pm ($7/day).

ENGLISH CAMPS
Ages 6 to 12

Our week-long art programs run in rotation all summer long. Program activities are adapted to a range of age and learning levels.

MiniMall
Shop 'til you drop! Inspired by shopping malls, community markets and street festivals, participants will send up mall culture by inventing their own products and constructing their own mini-storefronts to peddle their wares.

Tales From the Underground
During this week-long adventure, participants will explore what's hidden just below the surface of the earth. Inspired by caves, ant hills and underground cities, participants will use drawing, sculpture and other techniques to create their own mysterious subterranean worlds.

Realms of the Unreal
Fuelled by the power of unbridled imagination, participants will bring to life a fantastic otherworld, replete with fanciful scenarios and legendary superheroes. Over the course of the week, campers will experiment with drawing, photography and puppetry to create a life-sized paper theatre.

CAMPS FOR FRENCH LEARNERS
In partnership with the Alliance Française
Ages 6 – 11
9 am – 4 pm

For beginner and intermediate French Immersion learners, these week-long art and language study camps are co-taught by an art instructor from Oakville Galleries and a French teacher from the Alliance Française. A language level assessment will be conducted to tailor lessons to participants’ proficiency.

Things to bring to camp:
1. Full lunches and two snacks per day (no nuts, please)
2. Apron or clothes that can endure messy fun! (aprons are not provided)
3. Bathing suit and towel for water games (weather permitting)
4. Sunscreen, a hat, refillable water bottle

Children will be spending at least two hours outside per day.

Location
Unless otherwise noted, all camps are held at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens (1306 Lakeshore Road East), 2km east of downtown Oakville. To access the gallery, use the private driveway on the south side of Lakeshore at the crosswalk, just east of the public parking lot. The gallery is at the end of the driveway.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation with a refund must be applied for at least 7 days before your child's camp starts. Refunds are subject to a $15 administrative fee per child, per camp. There are no refunds for cancellations requested less than 7 days before your child's camp begins. Please allow 2 – 4 weeks for refunds by cheque. We do not refund prepaid childcare fees.
