Youth Art Studio

Develop your artistic voice in this 8-week mixed media course that encourages play and experimentation alongside technical instruction on various painting, drawing, and printmaking techniques. Students will also learn how to develop and use their sketchbooks effectively in the pursuit of creating portfolio-ready works of art.

Location
All classes will be conducted in the Main Floor Education Centre and occasionally outside in Gairloch Gardens. Drop-off will be outside of the Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Road East, 2 km from downtown Oakville.
What to bring
SNACKS + LUNCHES
Oakville Galleries strives to be a nut-free facility. Please do not send your child(ren) any products that contain peanuts or tree nuts, including Nutella, substitute nut spreads, and pesto.
Please send your child(ren) a refillable water bottle.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress for art making! Please note that aprons and smocks are not provided.
Cancellation policy
Requests for a program registration cancellation that are eligible for a full refund must be made in writing at least 14 days or more prior to the start date of the program. There are no refunds for cancellations requested less than 14 days before the program begins.
Oakville Galleries reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if a minimum enrolment number is not met. If Oakville Galleries cancels a program, registrants will be notified up to a week prior to the start of the program and registrants will be offered a full refund.
MISSED CLASSES
In the event that a participant is unable to attend a scheduled class during the scheduled program, make-up dates, refunds, or credits will not be provided.
