Power up your children's PA Day with energizing art activities. These full-day programs are suitable for creative and active kids who are curious to explore the arts with a range of tools and mediums! Dates coincide with Halton PA days.

From trees and bumblebees to frogs on logs, explore and delve into our natural world! Campers will create art inspired by garden creatures big and small. Perfect for campers who love plants, animals, and nature.


24 November 2023 | Food Frenzy

Giant hamburgers, painted pies, and Warhol's signature soup cans. Throughout history, artists have been inspired by food! This day program, bring your camper's whole love to dabble in culinary creations.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Time

9 AM – 4:30 PM

Location

The Drop-Off window will be from 9:00 - 9:30 AM on each day of camp with camp programming commencing at 9:30 AM.

The Pick-Up window will be from 4:00 - 4:30 PM with camp programming ending at 4:00 PM. No extended care is provided at this time.

All classes will be conducted in the Main Floor Education Centre and occasionally outside in Gairloch Gardens.

Drop-off will be outside of the Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Road East, 2 km from downtown Oakville.

What to bring

SNACKS + LUNCHES

  • Oakville Galleries strives to be a nut-free facility. Please do not send your child(ren) any products that contain peanuts or tree nuts, including Nutella, substitute nut spreads, and pesto.
  • Please do your best to pack a litterless lunch and/or snack.
  • Please send your child(ren) a refillable water bottle.

WHAT TO WEAR

  • Dress for art making! Please note that aprons and smocks are not provided.
  • Participants should dress for the weather and temperature as we will head outdoors during our breaks and lunch.
  • Closed-toed shoes are required.

Cancellation policy

Requests for a program registration cancellation that are eligible for a full refund must be made in writing at least 14 days or more prior to the start date of the program. There are no refunds for cancellations requested less than 14 days before the program begins.

Oakville Galleries reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if a minimum enrollment number is not met. If Oakville Galleries cancels a program, registrants will be notified up to a week prior to the start of the program and registrants will be offered a full refund.


MISSED CLASSES

In the event that a participant is unable to attend a scheduled class during the scheduled program, make-up dates, refunds, or credits will not be provided.
