In Toronto

Now I was driving by a building on Queen Street east when by chance, I passed by a recreation center and found my final image for the project. On the front of the building sits a crest with two figures, the figure on the left is an Indian, (image: similar to the one I photographed along the Lakeshore), probably representing the Mississauga



After making my initial photograph, I began zooming in closer to the figures on the crest and found an interesting play between the figures and the wall signage.

As I looked thought the viewfinder I was reminded of the photograph of my son.. As I got back in the car and headed back to Ottawa, I thought this was too easy an ending for such a complex history. But I also knew that scouting for Indians would continue in other cities.
