My final journey was to the Six Nations reserve and the city of Brantford. My family is from Six Nations and I was going to pay a visit. And my trip would complete the Rev. Peter Jones story (see Burlington) as well. When I stayed at the reserve my elders would sometimes mention the Ojibway who lived at the New Credit Reserve. And that is about all I knew about them. So it was a surprise to learn that the people living at New Credit were the same people who had lived at the Mississauga Indian Settlement at Port Credit and then at the site of the present day Mississauga Country and Golf Club.

My first stop was in Brantford. I found on the Internet, a plaque commemorating the Rev. Peter Jones(Plaque #27) home on Colborne Street in Brantford. I had passed by the house many times but never knew that it was the Jones's home.
