Introducing the second in a series of residencies where artists and thinkers come to Oakville and stay for a month to produce a work about the town.

Jeff Thomas is an Iroquois/Onondaga photographer and curator who now lives in Ottawa, Ontario. For several decades his work has investigated how Native peoples are represented in an urban context, presenting the image of the Indian as one that is constantly being defined. He is visiting Oakville until March 6, 2004. Visit this page often to see how Jeff's project develops.
