Below are a number of pictures taken both during the workshop and in my spare time.
The picture above was taken by a friend who also attended the course. It was a flower arrangement taken at her house. What a beautiful picture!
This picture was taken during the photography workshop at March break. It was photographed in downtown Oakville along the lake. At the time, it was sunny outside and I liked the way the sun touched the water and the other ojects.
Ashleigh, a good friend of mine, took this photograph at the Gairloch Gardens in Oakville. I was standing by a walkway on top of a rail with Mona reaching out in case I were to fall.
This is a photograph of my grandparent's house in mid-winter. During the warm months they would often sit outside on the lawn chairs and watch the sun set.
I took this picture a couple years ago when I went up north to a cottage. The picture shows a garden chair with the lake and senery in the background.
In August last year, my parents finally gave in to getting my and my younger sister a puppy. Her name is Cassie and she's a Shetland sheepdog. Throughout my lifetime, I always wished I could have a dog, and this picture will help me remember that as a child in Oakville, we shared a lot of fun memories!
Ashleigh and I have been friends for who knows how long! This picture is of Ashleigh (right), Bryony (left), Laura (left top) and me (middle). My mom took this picture of us on my trampoline in my back garden in Oakville. We have a lot of funny memories!
This picture is of me on the lakeside in Oakville. It was a cold winters day and I was looking out at the lake in front of me.
I took this picture because it symbolized the cold, winter days in Oakville that I have experienced many, many times. The trees are covered in icicles along with the other plant life.
This is a close up of the icicle in the picture beforehand. My mom and I found it interesting the way the water had frozen and formed into an icicle.
This is a close up of the lawn chairs in a previous picture. It seems as if someone had been sitting there, but rushed inside as the snow quickly took over the garden.
My little puppy Cassie! She means the world to me!
A cropped version of another picture. I wanted to get our faces from a closer view.
This is two hands reaching out, the lower one ready to catch in case the other were to fall. It was taken in the Gairloch Gardens during the photography workshop. I like the way the picture is faded because it creates a visual effect.
This picture is a cropped version of a previous photograph. It shows a path travelling towards the lake covered in ice.
During the photography workshop at March break, Ashleigh and I got inspired. One night, she came over for a sleepover and we walked around the neighborhood taking pictures with my digital camera. This is a photograph taken by Ashleigh of my hand reaching out into the sky.
