Over the last 3 years I have become more and more interested in photography. It all started one Thanksgiving weekend when we took a trip with my Mom`s boss and his wife up North. My Mom`s boss, Richard planned an activity for me and my sisters to participate in over the long weekend. It was a photography contest. We were put into teams and told what we had to take pictures of. I was partnerd up with my Dad. At the end of the week the judging would take place. The judge being Richard, who is very keen on photography himself. This was the award winning photograph in the nature catagory. It was taken in the morning while my Dad and I were canoeing on the lake.
This picture was taken with a motophoto disposable camera. Just goes to show you don`t need a $200 digital camera to create beautiful pictures. This is when I really became interested in photography. Richard and my Dad told me I had a very good eye for composition, I decided to use this to my advantage. I started taking my camera around with me everywhere I went.
