Try your hand at ceramics with Janet Hinkle of Hinkleville Handmade. This afternoon pin-making workshop will cover the basics of hand-building with clay. Participants will learn the necessary techniques to develop their own style and approach, adding colour and texture using various underglaze techniques. Take your #pingame to the next level! No previous experience required; great for all skill levels. We request that participants ages 10 to 14 attend with an adult.

What to bring
Please wear a smock or apron and bring a small towel to keep hands clean. All essential materials and services (tools, clay, glazes, protective clothing, kiln firing) are included. Two pin backs are also included per person. Extras will be available at an additional cost.
All works will be fired following the workshop, and available for pick-up at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens between March 20th and April 6th.
Cancellation with a refund must be applied for at least 7 days before your program begins. Refunds are subject to a $15 administrative fee. There are no refunds for cancellations requested less than 7 days before the program begins. Please allow 2-4 weeks for refunds by cheque.
Janet Hinkle is a Toronto based artist who graduated from the York University Fine Arts (Visual Arts - Studio) Program. She founded Hinkleville Handmade in 2015, focusing on small batch, handmade Canadian goods.
