Coming to Life

Bring your imagination to life with this stop-motion workshop! Participants will build characters out of modeling clay, then pose and photograph them one small movement at a time. With the help of their instructor, they'll edit their photos into a short animation using iMovie, finishing their films with sound effects and credits.Register now

Spend the day down by the lake! Learning how to create floating sculptures, boats and other water-friendly crafts, participants will venture out to the ponds of Gairloch Gardens to test their creations (weather permitting!).Register now
9:00 am–4:00 pm
Before-care and after-care is available every day from 8:00 am–9:00 am ($5/day per child) and 4:00 pm–5:30 pm ($7/day per child). Parents must register for extended care at least 2 business days in advance.
All classes are held in the Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Road East, located 2 km east of downtown Oakville.
What to bring
Campers are required to bring a lunch, snacks, and drinks for the day. Lunches and snacks must be nut-free. Refillable water bottles are highly recommended. Indoor and outdoor clothing and footwear that can endure both messy fun and outdoor play are encouraged. Please bring a change of clean shoes to wear indoors in bad weather. Smocks are not provided. All art materials are supplied by Oakville Galleries.
Cancellation with a refund must be requested at least 7 days before your child's program begins. There are no refunds for cancellations requested less than 7 days before the program begins.
