A planned or deferred gift is made through accumulated assets built up during a donor’s lifetime. As such, these gifts may take shape through various creative vehicles and are not typically made until the donor has died. Planned gifts may be as simple as making a bequest through your Will or as easy as naming Oakville Galleries a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.

Planned gifts are a sensitive and caring way to leave a legacy for future generations while enabling the Galleries to remain a vibrant arts centre in the community.

Oakville Galleries strongly advises that any and all changes made to your estate be done initially in consultation with your loved ones and your lawyer. Subsequently, by informing the Galleries of your intentions, you will be included in the Oakville Galleries’s Legacy Society – a special group of dedicated donors who have included the Galleries in their Will or who have made another form of planned gift.
