Oakville Galleries’s Secondary School Programmes integrate Visual Arts, Sciences and Technology, Social Studies and Literacy in both French and English.
Our programmes are designed to provide secondary students with an art experience that involves looking, discussing, writing and making. Primarily inspired by the artworks exhibited and collected by Oakville Galleries, the programmes also refer to other contemporary art practices, as well as modern and historical ones. Through our programmes, we aim to increase students’ knowledge in arts, their technical skills and expressive potential. By creating programmes that integrate Visual Arts, Science and Technology, Social Studies and Literacy in English and French, we teach them how art is a means to connect with the world around us.
Our educative team works collaboratively with consultants and teachers from the School Boards of the Halton area to provide new and updated Arts programmes.
All school programmes are offered in English and French. Pour les Programmes scolaires de niveau secondaire en français, cliquez ici.
