Oakville Galleries Youth Council presents:

Oakville/Hamilton Mail Art Exchange Exhibition

Oakville Galleries Youth Council and members of Youth Engagement and Action Hamilton (YEAH), have participated in a unique mail art project facilitated by Oakville Galleries Community Arts Programmer, Sarah Febbraro and Workers Arts and Heritage Centre, Labour Arts Coordinator Andrew Lochhead. The project asks youth in Hamilton and Oakville to create and share art by mail based on the question: 'What does it mean to be a young person in Hamilton/Oakville?'

The art work created will be exhibited at the Oakville YMCA from. Youth and the general public are invited to attend the art opening on 22 May, which includes live music, djs, food, zines and art!

Create your own zine and trade copies with other zine creators! Art Gallery of Ontario Youth Council, Oakville Galleries Youth Council and Oakville Public Library Youth Council will come together to showcase their zines.
